Safeguarding Policy

The Wyvern Fellowship Ltd · Last updated: 6 September 2026

The Wyvern Fellowship is committed to running all family and mutual-aid services, community events and local chapter activities in a safe, professional and respectful environment, in accordance with applicable safeguarding and equality legislation. We maintain a Safeguarding Policy, approved by the Board and overseen by a Designated Safeguarding Lead, which sets standards of conduct for everyone acting on the Fellowship's behalf and a confidential procedure for raising and handling concerns. Before any programme or activity involving children or vulnerable adults launches, we will put additional safeguards in place, including appropriate vetting for anyone taking part in it directly.

If you have a safeguarding concern relating to any Fellowship activity, chapter, or member, please contact us directly at [email protected], marked "safeguarding", and it will be treated with appropriate care and confidentiality. You can also use our Complaints Procedure for anything that isn't urgent.
